Job Title: Flexo Label VP of Sales
State: Flexo/digital label company located in an eastern suburb of Los Angeles is interested in hiring an experienced Vice President of Sales. The right candidate for this position will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a “can do” attitude, and is prepared to grow into other roles beyond VP of Sales. In your 15+ year career in flexo printing and/or flexible packaging, you have been exposed to and have at least a basic understanding of various roles including Sales, Administration, and Operations. You understand the differences in label materials, adhesives, applications, coatings, and decorating processes. You have no fear of pioneering new business. You are both an active listener and a closer. You are driven by the thrill of the hunt and the possibility of earning more commissions. At the same time, you are a capable and charismatic coach, able to extract maximum performance from your small but growing team of 2 salespeople while managing your own book of business. You communicate effectively and can execute a strategy if given the right resources and latitude to do things with great independence. You are fiscally prudent with your expense account, and prefer high margin business even if it takes more effort. Your compensation will be a combination of competitive base salary covering your attention to house accounts and your supervisory duties, and a commission component on your personal book of business.
