The Bindery Manager needs to support all functions of the bindery and facilitate communication between departments. The Bindery Manager needs to be able to manage and develop operators on diverse type of equipment in a large bindery department.
The main duties include:
-Developing and managing bindery operators
-Ensure capacity planning is accurate for the different equipment
-Manage planning for labor needs for upcoming and current projects
-Document procedures and communicate best practices to all operators
-Document procedures for workflow
Some of the equipment includes perfect binders, folders, cutters, saddle stitchers and three knife trimmers.
Salary is $90-$120,000 depending on experience
